One unique experience was when my husband and I, Wendy, were at a local cemetery for a short time. Suddenly my cell phone rang, the caller ID showed my husbands name and number. We were only about 10 to 15 feet apart from one another so I turned to him and asked why the heck he was calling me and he said he didn't and told me his cell phone was in the car. I walked back to car to verify for myself that the phone was in the car because I thought my husband was playing a prank on me. I did indeed find his cell phone in the car, it was turned off and in the glove box. I turned the phone on to check for most recent calls but my number was not listed there. So that was eerie. How did my phone ring with my husbands name and number on caller ID when his phone was off!?
One of my favorites is a photos of an apparition was from when I was taking photos of my friends wedding. I took about 100 photos and viewed them all and in one photo a fully formed apparition of a woman in a white gown is seen walking away from the alter toward the left. It was white but partially transparent. She looked to be wearing a formal gown. The bride and groom from this wedding were at the alter and this was not a cast off image! This was not visible to the naked eye but very distinguishable in the photo. To my dismay, I no longer have that photo because I gave all photos to the couple and they seem to have misplaced this one. Perhaps this was a bride that had been jilted at the alter, I don't know, but there definitely was a ghostly woman there!
Another great photo is one that I took in total darkness and there are very visible eyes that are seen. They were not seen by the naked eye only in the photo. They were set further apart than human eyes and there was also a third eye located in a different area of the same photo. Nothing else can be seen on the photo even if I enhance it and lighten it. Nobody was anywhere near me, and the eyes are too high from the ground to be an animal.
I've had experiences of being hit with things too, so have other members of our team. It often feels like very fine gravel, other times it is harder and feels like a rock. We always take notice of our surroundings and never is there a source found. This has happened numerous times in different locations. We've never been hurt, just startled at times. We ask that if someone is trying to get our attention to please do it in a different way and typically it will cease.
Cold spots have been felt at one time or another by all team members.
Some members have heard voices or noises and later realized those same things were heard on audio.
There is an undisclosed location that we been to a number of times and enjoy EVERY time! There has never been a time without some suggestive paranormal acitivity. We have been to this place a minimum of a half dozen times over the past two years, even as it has changed ownership, we are very greatful to be welcomed to such a beautiful establishment!
I have seen objects move such as hangers swaying. Other members of the team have seen things such as hanging pots & pans swing!
One very memorable incident was while I was sitting on a trunk against a wall in a room my backside was so cold it felt like I was on a block of ice while at the same time my frontside was normal temperature. This was not the average "cold spot" the only way I can explain it is to compare it to an artic freeze! I've never felt anything like that, not prior nor since.
We have obtained several EVP's at this establishment over the years. One great EVP is of a man's voice that is very clear but there were only two females in the building at that time.
Several team members have captured photos of shooting orbs in the basement of this establishment. Each member using a different camera and captured on two different visits but the images appear in the approximate same area of the basement.
One of our members took one of our best photos thus far, it's quite awesome! It was taken of a general area and we later noticed upon examination that there's a imagine of a woman that is wearing period clothing in a window at the end of a hall. Imagine his surpise when he realized that he had unwittingly taken this great photo! That'll be something to talk about for a long time! On one of our most recent vists there we had the pleasure of having three lovely guests of the staff accompany us and it was a very intersting evening for us everyone. One of the guests had left open a room and upon returning it was closed, locked and the TV was on - but there was nobody else on the floor and she was the last person to leave that room! A silimiar incident happenedd to two of our members during the previous visit in that same room.
Doors have shut by themself, objects moved on their own, noises heard from unknown sources experienced by all members at one time or another. This establishment has a lot of paranormal activity. We feel it's fair to say it is pleasantly haunted. There has never been anything scary or harmful done to anyone!During our spare "down" time we do take a lot of photos a cemetaries, just for some local fun so-to-speak.
*Note: Everyone knows there aren't more spirits at a cemetary than there are anywhere else, perhaps even less, we are aware of this!
